Death Valley NP, California July 2013 after flash flood rains from the night before. This was just off road where water had been running down slope, following the contours of the land where it butted up to the road.
Leaving Death Valley National Park July 2013 as I enter Amargosa, heading back to Las Vegas on the short route. These wild horses crossed the road in a dead run and stopped here. This girl jumped out to shoot them, as did I.
On the way back to Las Vegas, just outside of the city, I saw this off to my left. Storm clouds were dropping some light rain and the sun was just kissing the red rock striata and caught my eye.
